A Weekend in the Backwaters of Kerala

Staying in a houseboat in Alleppey was the most relaxing experience of my life. The local food, the serenity, everything was perfect. We drifted along the calm waters, watching the daily life of the locals unfold along the banks. The traditional Kerala lunch served on a banana leaf was delicious. We also enjoyed a canoe ride through the smaller canals. It was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.
